A SUICIDE support group has been set-up for people living in a borough.
Mental health charity 'PH7 LIFE' has launched the group in the Ribble Valley and it follows similar sessions which they have run in Burnley.
The group said it has set up the service following the deaths of three ladies who have taken their own lives in the borough over the last few weeks.
Rebecca Jane, group operations director, said: "When we realised what a ripple effect the loss of these three young people had on our community, we had to deliver a service the need right now.
"We have been running our Burnley mental health support groups for over eight months and the time has come for us to support the Ribble Valley with a suicide support group."
The groups are entirely offered for free and anyone who has been affected by the recent suicides is encouraged to attend.
The next session, which is conducted by therapists from the charity, takes place on Thursday, December 5 at Mitton Hall in Clitheroe.
This is followed by another group on Thursday, December 12 at the Shireburn Arms in Hurst Green.
Both the groups take place from 6.30pm.
